The GES Working Group of the IAGC brings together scientists investigating the dynamic interactions of the lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere. We integrate field, laboratory, and modeling approaches to understand how these systems respond to environmental and societal change. Our work addresses urgent global challenges, including critical mineral resources, water security, and critical zone processes. Through conferences, webinars, and collaborative projects, we foster international dialogue and champion the next generation of Earth scientists.
